I don’t know just who stole my candy bar, but…

But I could have sworn I saw a ref eating a snickers bar at halftime.

Now, I’m not going to suggest that the refs snuck up behind us and plunged a shiv in our backs; most of the calls were earned. But, one thing does stick in my craw. The offensive pass interference call against Warren. It turned first and goal at the 2 yard line and a likely 7 points into a Field Goal.

Now, I really have no quarrel with the call itself. If you’re calling a tight game, you’re going to throw the flag every time.

Later on in the game, though, they saw nothing wrong on the Touchdown pass to Nacua when he did the exact same thing as Warren.

I get that the game was in LA. I get that the refs were feeling pretty mellow about the home team…they probably appreciated the free medical marijuana delivery to their hotel, the hookers, and the $5,000 in free chips and comped suite at Harrah’s Indian Casino.

I doubt that there’ll be any kind of apology from the league. Those are nice, but they’re about as useless as bells on a boar hog. There’s only one remedy to the kind of bad refereeing we saw yesterday…better hospitality when they come to Indy…double the hookers and crack cocaine for line judge.

You can't give away points on the road against a good team, and the Colts gave away 14 points in that game. If they want to know who beat them, they need to take a long look in the mirror.
