New Reports of AR having to be talked to by teammates

So, today there is this new burst of reports about teammates apparently stepping to AR and telling him he isn't pulling his weight.

This new reporting names names with Bucker and oddly enough, Ehlinger, named as players that told him he needed to do more. Buckner apparently going so far as to say he signed his extension because of his belief in AR but he is no longer in that camp.

What is missing, is timeline. It is not clear whether this is post the benching- i.e. he has not demonstrated the ethic / effort required even after returning. Absent that, it is hard to really take away much.

What I do feel however is, by not saying "prior to benching" or "since he returned to the starting role"... to me this lack of clarity is intended to further injure his credibility in the NFL.

To that end, with the Steichen soreness comments, and this new wave of negative reporting, boy it sure has the hallmarks of an organization looking to soil a player to lessen their culpability.

Would not surprise me if they release him at this point. If so, then there is a much deeper story that needs to be told here.

Man, you would think he would have better work ethic, but some dudes get by on superior athleticism, and never learn how to be a real professional about improving their games. I sure hope this is not the case with him, but it sure looks like it is.

If there is fire behind ALL this smoke (lazy, last in-first out, disc problem since 8th grade...), and they are setting the stage to boot him, if this is all being orchestrated for that purpose, then man you have to move Ballard and Steichen as well. Irsay has no choice but to put all the blame on B&S for all the bullshit that has happened and turn around and promise it will never happen again under his watch.

So do y'all think we're going to have Justin Fields with AR as the backup next year? I assume Fields would beat AR in competition.

Trey Lance if Dallas lets him go?
Josh Dobbs?

I'm just looking at spotrac free agent QBs and there isn't much that isn't already 30 or less than average. I assume the Vikings will keep Darnold.

The Buckner part I know I heard during the benching, so I’m sure that’s old. The rest I don’t know. Sounds like there is plenty to question with him either way. Team overall is a shit show and a direct reflection of Ballard’s leadership and philosophy.

If the Colts could draft Drew Allar in the second round I would go for it! No guarantee he will declare, especially if he isn't guaranteed to go round 1, but that is the type of competitor and leader this team needs!

On another PSU topic, man I don't give a fuck what it would take, move heaven and earth to get Warren. He is in the Gronk, Kittle, Gonzalez, Bowers mold. His combination of ball skills and physicality is mesmerizing.

I like Warren.

Another potential draft option is Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss.

Another thought is we could look to trade for JJ McCarthy since Minny is going to likely keep and pay Darnold.

Ballard doesn’t even know who Warren is.
