In a second tweet, he said, "Pissed off,Intense..Primal… for 3 hours…Not 30 Minutes!! It comes down,Colts Fans…” How bad do YOU want it!!”

(No word on whether he had to tweet in all caps to be heard over the roar of jet engines.)

Irsay's anger at losing to the Titans has been well-established as they have won the last two AFC South titles and after the Colts won 16 of 17 games between 2008 and 2016, Tennessee has won three in a row and four of the last five in the rivalty.

“They kick our (butt) and they have been kicking our (butt),’’ Irsay said at the owners' meetings this offseason. “We’ve got to get past that. I don’t hide from the facts that are out there competitively. I want to put them right in front of us. ... You have to know where your nemeses lie.

“It’s just completely unacceptable the way they’ve dominated the division over us. It just is. And I give (Titans coach Mike) Vrabel a ton of credit. He’s done a great job. He’s a tough guy.

“We have to prove we can beat them and beat them when it most matters and consistently beat them.’’

Of course, fans were quick to mention maybe the players should actually be "pissed off, intense and primal" for three hours.

I, as a Colts fan, haven't been waiting for this version of Jim Irsay. He's a super fan, so I know it's always there. That tweet read like desperation to me. Maybe I'm just too negative.
