Strachan

This guy appears to be the real deal. I know people will say it is to early but I am on this bandwagon big time. The guy hasn't played football for over a year and even then it was Div II. He looked great in preseason game, going up high to snag that throw was something innate. Can't teach that and to find it in a 6 5 225 wide receiver is amazing. He runs routes pretty well for someone with almost no experience, is fast and catches the ball with his hands. On top of that it is reported he is getting reps with the first string. So glad we didn't go for any of those high priced free agents.

I was just as impressed with Patmon.

I was impressed but in a different way. Strachan seems like a different animal, one that if he continues to develop could be a game changer. Patmon looked great but not quite as athletic to me. I want to keep them both. They wouldn't make it through waivers. It is great that these are going to be difficult decisions, something we haven't really had for years.

The Colts must really like the potential of Patmon as well - they kept him "protected" on the 53 man roster all last season - even when he was listed as Inactive for almost every game day.

Not sure Dulin makes it, but if he does, I think they keep seven (Strachan and Patmon as well as the four above). Then I hope they stash Vaughns and Harris, and maybe Black, on the PS. Not sure Harris makes it throught the waiver process, but Vaughns and Black should.

I’m not sure Pascal is 100 percent secure. Depends on how much they like Patmon and Strachan.

To be clear, I’m not saying Pascal gets cut-I just think it’s a possibility.

I really liked the Patmon pick last year. Obviously, he wasn't helped by the diluted off-season and no pre-season games, but he is someone I'd hate to see let go. That said, Strachan excites me even more.

As for Pascal, no way they cut him.

Both Strachan and Patmon were tried as gunners today in practice. They had trouble getting off the line according to Indy Star. To me this means that they want to keep both of these guys. I hope so

They seem to have a much higher ceiling than Dulin.
