Worth a look.

Dam8610 03-05-2019 06:39 PM

Let the Jets or 49ers overpay him.

Coltsalr 03-05-2019 07:06 PM

Yep.

apballin 03-05-2019 11:41 PM

That's because you're stupid.

He isn’t a pass rushing threat like Lawrence. But his is solid all around and can move all along the line to exploit mismatches. He was one of the pats best linemen and could be a solid rotational piece that is decent against the run. Would also be weakening the pats as well.

He's not going back to the Cheaters. The Jets will likely overpay him to "steal" him from them. I don't see him doing much outside of Cheaterland.

I don't think he'll be worth what he gets. Plus if Bellicheck won't pay him it worries me

Belichick didn’t tag either McCourty/Hightower, they both hit the open market and they both returned and they’ve both held up well.

This’ll happen again if some other team doesn’t sign him.

No it’s stupid to overpay any pats player because they are all clearly system guys and we don’t run a defense (cheat) like the pats so therefore he’d be a waste not to mention you’re gonna overpay because he’s the “bes” available pass rusher

The Jets will overpay to "steal" him. They've done it so many times before.

They didn’t with Hightower or McCourty, unfortunately.

The stupid part is wanting any part of Dante Fowler, he sucks.

Shaq Barrett will be cheaper and more productive.

They don't tend to retain their DL/Edge players.

I think Detroit and Miami will be chasing him the hardest.

A signing like this is what I'm expecting from Ballard at EDGE. It's his style based on signings like Autry, Ebron, Simon, etc.

Sounds like the Jets have their sights set elsewhere:

@Connor_J_Hughes
A player on the #Jets radar: LB Anthony Barr. They’re very — very — high on him. Wouldn’t be surprised if they offer him the most money when market opens. They’ll be in it for him until the end.

Well that sucks. He won't be cheap now, and Idk if he's worth a $15 million AAV risk, which is probably about the contract he'd get in a bidding war.
