Just to bring the contest forward to the new board.

#1 Seed Sherck (regular season 166 - 90, playoffs 9 - 1)

vs

#2 Seed Brylok (regular season 166 - 90, playoffs 9 - 1)

Through the Conference Championship games, we tied with our picks (2 - 0) but Brylok is ahead in picking the final scores by 7 points, 28 to 35 (low score wins).

So, for picking the Super Bowl this week, I either need to pick opposite Brylok in order to win (and have the team I pick actually win the SB) OR we need to pick the same team but I need to pick a score that ends up being at least 8 points closer to the real final score than he does.

Brylok picked NE 27, PIT 20.....off by 9 with NE, off by 3 with PIT, differential 12tiebreaker loss

Sherck picked ATL 35, GB 31....off by 9 with ATL, off by 10 with GB, differential 19tiebreaker loss
Brylok picked ATL 31, GB 24.....0ff by 13 with ATL, off by 3 with GB, differential 16 tiebreaker win

As of now it all comes down to the Super Bowl... the head to head matchup tiebreakers are tied at 1. If you both pick the same Super Bowl winner, then the score tie breaker will decide everything!

Damn, Sherck. I was ready to concede at halftime and turn off the game. But Atlanta did the biggest Atlanta thing ever and blew a 25 point lead. You had a great year picking games though and I'm sure you'll be in the running again next year.

Yeah, I thought that I had this one in the bag; especially once ATL went up 28 - 3 over the Cheats.

I hate those guys. The worst part is now we have to listen to 6 months of "best ever" and "no one can beat them" and "why do the other 31 teams even strap on a helmet."

One of the best things about cutting the cable TV off 3 or 4 years ago is that I don't have to listen to any of that crap unless I want to. I still have Internet & WiFi but no cable TV. I just download the shows I watch. And I hate NE, too.

Yeah, we cut the cable cord 3 years ago as well. Tablo does a great job of acting as our DVR for broadcast stuff.
