Did you guys hear that McDickless won't be attending with Bellicheat this year?

I read that he typically doesn't. Just this year it's a big deal.
|
Shouldn't let him in the building if he did come.
|
RB and OL measurements are in. Orlando Brown is an enormous man. 6'8, 345, 35" arms. Wouldn't mind him in the second.
|
looking forward to seeing this guys workout...
Vita-Vea He may be one ogf those physical freaks that doesn't work out, or may be the steal of the draft |
Bradley Chubb measured 6'4 and change, 269 lbs, 34 inch arms, 9 7/8" hands. We'll see how he runs. He looks the part.

Those numbers are pretty close to Julius Peppers:. 6'6", 283, 34" arms, 10" hands. He only ran the 40 and did 4.68. so we'll see what he does tomorrow. Also, Barkley had a hell of a day and I'm becoming ok with him over Chubb. The fact that we can walk away with either or a boat load of picks is a good thing. |

Listen. Lets draft Chubb and keep it moving. |

Pass. Saquon Barkley did 29 reps. Slow and weak doesn’t translate well in the nfl. |

Also, no to Barkley and ideal is trade down and still get Chubb. |

"Trade down and all the blue chip players are gone" is what I'm concerned would happen.

Chubb just ran a 4.66 that is faster than 95% of the QB's in the NFL, and probably fast enough to cover most NFL TE's.
|
For reference, Khalil Mack was 251, ran 4.65.
Chubb is 269 ran 4.66. Joey Bosa was 269, ran 4.77. Von Miller was 246, ran 4.53. Dudes fast. Would love to see his jump scores and 3-cone. Those are the most telling for edge rushers. |

I saw 1.63 for that.

We need more talented football players, not track stars. |
Chubb ran a very disappointing 7.37 cone drill, apparently.
Firesale this pick, Ballard. |
Shaquem Griffin ran a 4.38. You can't tell me that dude is not a baller.

His tape don't lie, and now with the measurables...as far as athleticism he has checked almost all the boxes. I would love to have him as a WILL on our team. |

Demarcus Lawrence 7.46 Clowney 7.27 If Ballad is happy with the tape you still take him. |
Most surprising time of the day to me was Tremaine Edmunds at 4.54, I figured he'd be a 4.8 plodder.
Chubb at 4.65 exceeded my expectations as well, and I think the 36" vertical and 10'1" broad shows the lower half explosion he'll need at the next level. I'm not terribly concerned about the 3 cone time, that's not very reflective of the skills he needs as a down DE. Marcus Davenport has Julius Peppers type measurables across the board. Get him a DL coach and he'll wreak havoc on the NFL. |
I've resigned myself that we're in a great spot at #3. Obviously if Chubb or Barkley are available at #3 I think we take them, but if the Browns and Giants take both of them, then we have a great opportunity to trade back, and get multiple players who can help us.

I guess we'll see when they play the games. |

I've never seen him play. Who does he compare to?

Here he is single handedly wrecking Auburn in the Peach Bowl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtvdHSsHZXs (the entire game is basically a Shaquem Griffin highlight reel) Some actual highlight reels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6jFL3W1Z7E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MN6PfGB6eA |
