I suck at posting links but allegedly Ebron is claiming that Ballard told Luck to play injured or they were moving on. He goes on to speak on the severity of his injury and how Ballard “ran his name thru the ringer”

I heard that yesterday on Query's show. I believe it. His quote something to do with the guy with the big office and the jeans that is always in everyone's shit, oh I definitely believe it. I fully believe blow hard Ballard would say some shit like that just to show he was in charge and you better get used to it. I think he is 100% conman bullshit. Fuck Chris Ballard!

I saw a clip of it. The dude wasn't shit prior to 2018 and wasn't shit after 2018. I remember Reich and Ballard both acting surprised and disappointed at him shutting it down in 2019 and he got slapped with the "quit on the team" label.

I don't believe this for a second. One guy, with the team 2 years is the only one who knows this. The NFL players rate Ballard as one of the top GMs to work with. Ebron is a lying bitch. There is no way that Ballard said that to Luck. Irsay would have fired him immediately.

If you watch the whole POD, Luck was basically running the fucking team, just like Peyotn did. He was running the team to the point, that if a defender lined up wrong he was calling him out for it.

And Gus Bradley is a cunt. He can go fuck himself up the ass until he keels over and dies! The absolute worst Def. Coordinator in Indy Colts history. For proof of this, lets not forget Dec.17 2022!

I am going to so much enjoy seeing his sorry as coaching against us twice a year. The Titans are fucked, and we probably put up 60 on them!

Chappell says Luck said there is nothing to this rumor. Reggie also said he never heard anything. I don't want Ballard around as much as anyone but it is about the teams he puts on the field. He actually seems like a decent human being by all accounts.

Andrew Luck’s response to Eric Ebron’s claim Chris Ballard issued an ultimatum in 2019:
Chris and I had a wonderful partnership, especially through my decision to retire, and we remain close. Any notion of internal pressures that influenced my decision are without merit.

Yeah, that’s laughably false. No way in hell did anything even remotely close to that happen.

Players stick together. If this happened, Ballard would have been fired before Luck would have even had a chance to retire.

Furthermore, I have to think that if Jim was still alive, he’d be responding loudly and angrily to this, because if true, it reflects badly on him.

Jim may have been the most player friendly owner in the whole league.

There is not a snowballs chance in hell that something like this would have happened while Jim owned the team. It’s flat out ridiculous and it pisses me off.

Some moron with a megaphone over on Horseshoe Heroes named Vowel says it must be true because they turned to Phillip Rivers rather than bring back Luck. Supposedly, Ballard is harboring some grudge.

Anyone whose seen photos of Luck realizes the absurdity of the idea of him playing. In his heyday, he was 6’4” and 240 lbs. Today, it looks like he’s spent 5 years on the Karen Carpenter diet.

Any chance that Ebron apologizes or recants his statement?

Ebron is almost universally described as a piece of shit so I highly doubt it.

What is so weird about this, is that Ebron and Jack Doyle were very close, when they played together. But Jack is nothing like Ebron, from any standpoint that we could conjure up.

I presume most team sports are like this. I know from personal experience football is.
