Colts lose a close one due to not getting pressure on the most banged up o line in the NFL

A- on the title

BCN#1 10-19-2025 10:39 AM

Doh!

Fixed that for ya: "Chargers lose a close one due to the Colts getting just enough pressure on the most banged up o line in the NFL."

:D

BCN#1 10-19-2025 10:50 AM

I am so spun up hoping the Klotz pull out another win here and shut up more of the naysayers and haters.

Rams doing us a favor it seems spanking the Fagwites 21-0 with 2 minutes left in the 2nd QTR. Hope they keep that up!

Also hope the Texans stumbles against Seattle... The Patricias should easily spank the Tits also.

Keys to the game:

1.) Ogletree has to warm up in the parking lot.

YDFL Commish 10-19-2025 11:24 AM

Pressure on Herbert and keeping Derwin James from wrecking our offense.

With the 2025 Colts' luck with injuries, he would probably get hit by a car if he did that.

Pressure, pressure, pressure. This secondary is paper thin and Herbert will absolutely shred it if we can’t get both pressure and sacks. This game is a litmus test of the tenacity of the team. This year’s model feels different than any we’ve had in years but with a nagging fear that it could fall apart at any moment. Nevertheless I’m gonna go way out on a limb and predict 6 sacks and a win.

If the Colts can pull out a win today, they'll have a 2 game lead in the division.

This is right up there with the referee's "He's giving him the business down there" on a personal foul call in a Jets-Bills game from 1986 ...... it is also reminiscent of Dan Marino's hand-motioning for a fake spike against the Jets in 1994, right before he threw a TD pass against the bewildered Jets defense.

On 4th-and-1 from their own 40-yardline, Patrick Mahomes made it appear that he was doing a hard-count to draw the Raiders off-sides. With the play-clock just about to run out, Mahomes said, l "This never fucking works, man" l in a feigned display of frustration.

Lo and behold, about 2 seconds later the Chiefs ran a play against a surprised Raiders defense for a 3-yard gain and a 1st-down ...... an instant classic. )

We could also see an all-Indiana national championship game (Indiana vs. Notre Dame.)

The Patriots already beat the Bills, and with their record about to improve to 5-2, they appear to be a good team this year. The hapless Titans are highly unlikely to threaten the Colts' chances of an AFC South division title ...... so it probably would be better for the Colts and their fans to see the Patriots lose. It's not going to happen because the game is essentially over, but the Patriots are more of a potential threat to the Colts' playoff-seeding at the end of the season than are the Titans.

I hate to see them coming back to relevance. I hoped they'd suck for 20 years.

Yeah, maybe.

Anyone else notice that the game seems to be in SUPER high definition today? That interview with Taylor and the drone shots just before the first play from scrimmage really popped of the screen.

Either that, or my HD TV finally started working right after a year.
