Dammit Kenny

Just what the Colts need. A depleted secondary when facing Stafford.
|
Getting mighty thin back there, but we'll be alright. Stafford's getting old. Like most of us. Maybe not that old...

Next man up. If the Colts can continue winning in spite of the many key injuries in which they have already sustained, imagine how good they will be when some of those injured players come back to the playing squad. o |
Damn. Another CB steps on a landmine. Pierce will also almost certainly miss the game with the protocol.
Lost Ward and Latu for DEN and now two more significant guys missing LAR. Be nice to have that "full strength" label going into these two games rather than MIA and TEN. At least Hilton was available. Kind of the Kenny Moore of CIN. |
Doesn't sound good from Steichen. Asked about Kenny's status, he said after more evaluation of the calf injury, it actually looks more like an Achilles.

Reminds of a Tyrese Halliburton, lingering calf injury, csme back too soon, turned into achilles tear. I hope they are careful with him!

I am trying to think positively about Mike Hilton, he was great 4-5 years ago, but he didn't make the roster in Miami, failing to beat out slot CB Kader Kohou, who is, on average, decent.
I guess his time with the Bengals is an advantage as he will likely be familiar with Anarumo's scheme. |

That said, it's highly likely that we're going to have other key players sustain injuries in the near future ...... ahh, football is such a rough game. o |
I have some definite concerns about his coverage skills at this point in his career but his intelligence and scheme familiarity may mitigate that somewhat. I fully expect Anarumo to utilize him on some third down corner blitzes though.

Kenny Moore is back on the field today. First step, not practicing yet. But first comment I've seen from him, so I thought it was interesting...
He said they knew right away it wasn't a ruptured (torn) Achilles because he had movement down to his foot. He said, "we ruled it 2-4 weeks", which is the first timetable I've heard at all. Anatomy 101 refresher: tendon connects muscle to bone, but still not much blood flow. Typically slower to recover. Hopefully the young guys can hold up and they err on the side of caution with him. Is Mike Hilton on the 4-game IR or the season-ending IR? |

still doubt he plays
this is going to be a rough game |
I don't wanna see Kenny Moore back unless there is no chance of re-aggravation of this injury

He won't play. I was just updating his condition/progress. o |
Steichen says Kenny Moore is good to go this week. Sounded confident that he's fully recovered.
A little good news to balance the bad regarding Downs, Ward, and Dulin. |

Whoa, I didn't see that coming ...... I'm glad that I was wrong. o |
