Byard comes down and locks up (so does the CB) due to respecting AR. It turns a well blocked, nice run gain into a 56yd house call by RB who isn't a burner. |

Point is, if AR doesn't scare Byard the way he does, there's a good chance Moss makes a nice gain, but not a home run. Prime Taylor might take it either way, I don't know. It was blocked really well. |

I am very surprised at how well the line is playing. If they can keep this up (both lines) we will be in good shape. I think Moss is just as fast as JT (JT's top speed was 22.05 mph-little over one mile per hour faster than Moss) in practical terms but JT has so much more ability to move quickly in small spaces it makes him so much more difficult to tackle. Best shape we have been at running back that I can ever remember.

This week Baldy praised the Colts run defense and gave shout-outs to several members of the defense, including Zaire. https://twitter.com/BaldyNFL/status/1711876899490648570 Quote:

Does Baldinger have a show/podcast? Or does he just do Twitter clips?

Anyone heard the rumor we might trade for Jerry Jeudy?
Denver is gonna blow it up, probably wants draft picks. |

Steve Smith has a microphone and apparently has a bitch with Juedy. WTF knows but the criticism was a generalized 'he is an ass' sort of shit. Juedy refused to get drawn into it post game, good for him. Smith is pissed because he decided to dis Juedy and when he gave a half ass apology Jeudy told him to go fuck himself. Me, I like that. I know nothing about Juedy but when looking into it he has had one issue with 'domestic violence'. There was no violence, his girlfriend took his phone so he took their babies birth certificate. Doubt we trade for him but if we do I would have no issue because he and Smith don't get along. Ballard would do his due diligence

Also, maybe there's more to the story, but if the beef is Smith said he was JAG then (based on Jeudy's numbers) he's not wrong. |
He is a 24 year old kid, I'd give him a break. Receivers can be a weird strange bunch. It probably means zilch as Ballard loves him his draft picks and pittman/pierce are his draft picks. Trading would be an admission that maybe pierce isn't a player cause so far he isn't. Would be a surprise move.

Not ready to give up on Pierce. His adot is more than twice every other receiver on the team, and there is a direct relationship between adot and separation. The higher the adot the lower the separation. He’s their only real deep threat so it forces him to run deep long developing routes all game. By the time he’s into his route the ball is usually already out. Two targets a game just isn’t giving him a chance. Plus he’s just into his second year, long way to go. |
I was sort of in favor of the idea at first but now I’m not and it’s not just the beef with Steve Smith. I don’t think we need him. I think pierce can show it under minshew. Downs is looking good.
If we are gonna trade, trade for a top tier CB. |

I'd rather extend Pittman and draft another WR in the 1st 2 days to compete with Pierce. Downs looks like the real deal so I think we can run with that.
|
Pittman has out-produced Jeudy with even less QB stability. And the behavior is a flag. That's your level of focus at 1-4?
Remember when Ricky Jean-Francois did a choreographed sack dance when we're losing by 21 in ARZ? Whatever that quality is called... avoid it. |
