Mcshay’s latest mock has Colts trading up to 1 and selecting Young, he said he’s a smaller Mahomes

With a weaker arm.

Bryce Young is the clear #2 option, but I wouldn't trade up to 1 for him. Maybe trade up to 3 if the Bears can't find a trade partner and the Texans take Stroud. You only trade up to 1 for Stroud.

Should of brought Saturday in sooner if you wanted the number 1 pick, there is a reason Venturi is second banana on Colts radio broadcasts instead of coaching or GMing!:D

He's the only QB I'd rather them see trade up for, though even then if it costs a lot of draft capital I still would rather just them sit on the #4 and draft whoever is left.

Young looks like he will get broken, don't car about the height s much as the build, he can bulk up some, but how does that affect his mobility? If he is BOA at 4, so be it, but putting a lot of capital into trading up seems risky af.

He’s pretty good and working around the pocket and avoiding contact. But everyone gets hurt in the nfl, not a matter of if but when. I worry about the height and the weight.

Shane Steichen's play-calling would be excellent to put a quarterback with Young's talent in the position to win, playing to his strengths as a passer. Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts have raved about Steichen, as they've become two of the best signal-callers in the game.

The Colts have the No. 4 overall pick, so they would have to give a premium to the Chicago Bears to trade up to No. 1 overall to snatch Young. The price would be worth the reward -- especially with Steichen developing him.
