How in the hell do you delete a thread? NJ’s was first so mods please delete this one.

Racehorse 10-02-2022 08:36 AM

Hoopsdoc did not start the thread. Now we lose big.

He jinxed us

CletusPyle 10-02-2022 09:36 AM

Should we all start a gameday thread and just talk to ourselves?

If I had the option to delete this one, there would only be one. But apparently that’s not possible on this board.

omahacolt 10-02-2022 10:21 AM

threads are merged

not sure why NJ's title didnt stand so i have no choice but to grade the titles as a F

omahacolt 10-02-2022 10:23 AM

i have a feeling this is going to be a very frustrating game for us fans

So, since the threads are merged, how does that affect the jinx? Asking for a friend.....

apballin 10-02-2022 10:34 AM

24-6 Colts

Titans don’t score a TD today

Pez 10-02-2022 11:22 AM

I didn't realize the Titans special teams storyline... Kyle Phillips muffed a punt in game 2, then muffed another one in game 3, to be replaced by Amani Hooker, who immediately muffed a punt...

Lov2fish 10-02-2022 11:33 AM

Dolts 24, Tits 10 and very easily could be Tits 43 and Dolts 3

AlwaysSunnyinIndy 10-02-2022 11:36 AM

The Maniac is ACTIVE for today's game.

Leonard will make his season debut. Hopefully he can provide an extra spark for the defense.

Buckner is also ACTIVE.

Colts Inactives:

QB Sam Ehlinger
OT Luke Tenuta
OL Wesley French
WR Dezmon Patmon
DT Chris Williams
CB Dallis Flowers
S Julian Blackmon (ankle)

You mean like every game since starting the Qb merry go round?

YDFL Commish 10-02-2022 11:45 AM

Great news. As far as the other inactives, only Blackmon will be missed.

Thumbtacks 24 Colts 14

Could be worse...

They end today with a record of 1-1-1-1.

HoosierinFL 10-02-2022 12:15 PM

Buckner being active is huge. I hope he isn’t too limited though

In my rat's ass of an opinion, the Colts should employ a strategy in which they sometimes used during the 2010 season, when the offensive line was struggling ...... for the majority of the game, they should always keep at least 7 players in for blocking on all passing plays. Either 5 linemen, the tight end, and 1 running back, or 5 linemen and 2 running backs.

It worked quite well when Manning was taking snaps from the center 12 years ago when that offensive line was not playing well, and I suspect that that strategy might help the current offensive line, which has been struggling even more than that 2010 team's offensive line was.

Pinter may be watching today from sidelines?

Joel A. Erickson
@JoelAErickson
It looks like Will Fries might be lining up at right guard with the starters in warmups.

I would be happy if a couple people did. HA

Puck 10-02-2022 12:56 PM

24-16 Colts!

Colts Run D moves up to number 1 by shutting Henry down. (83 yards)

Well, might as well try Fries. Pinter sucks as a guard.

Ironshaft 10-02-2022 01:05 PM

Play #1. Ryan Kelly gets blown off the line to ruin a JT run.

Sigh...

Nice 2nd play, however.

Colts And Orioles 10-02-2022 01:06 PM

I may be in the minority here, but I think that the Colts should sit ) Shaquille Leonard ) today, based on what the female announcer just said ...... it's a long season, and I wouldn't want the very long rehab process of which he has been going through to go down the drain on one bad play. It's a long season, and I would rather have him out there his usual fearless self, which may take another week or 2 to occur.

o

Ironshaft 10-02-2022 01:07 PM

Nice protection on that max blitz 3rd and 12.

DragonTails 10-02-2022 01:10 PM

Wow they really have to fkn clue how to run a screen

Spike 10-02-2022 01:11 PM

And Ryan fumbles again. Fuck him.

YDFL Commish 10-02-2022 01:12 PM

I thought Ryan was smart? Running the ball into a 9 man box? WTF!

Butter 10-02-2022 01:12 PM

Our OL is such trash this year, We need a new OL coach or fucking something.

Nope. Need a complete rebuild. Not just the O-Line.

Chromeburn 10-02-2022 01:14 PM

Nelson just got schooled by Autry.

I'm only half-kidding when I say that perhaps they should keep 8 men back behind the line of scrimmage on all pass plays ...... this offensive line has looked historically bad in the first 3-plus games of the season so far.

Racehorse 10-02-2022 01:18 PM

Ryan with all these fumbles. He is too experienced to be doing that garbage.

JAFF 10-02-2022 01:18 PM

Titans come out and run the same offense, no surprises for the last 5 years. And the Colts have no answers

Puck 10-02-2022 01:19 PM

Ok Finally. We are behind. Let the comeback begin

We need to stop the play action. No one is buying it and it makes him turn his back to the dline. He doesn’t have enough time to run play action. That’s how bad it is.
