Yeah, after Luck's retirement announcement, I was hoping/thinking maybe we can be bad enough in 2020 to go 3-13 or 2-14 and get Lawrence.

But man...he's looked bad this year. I thought he was the next surefire "can't miss" QB prospect but now I'm not so sure.

Brylok 09-29-2019 04:09 PM

Baltimore really crapped the bed today. What the hell?

nate505 09-29-2019 04:10 PM

Wow, they have all their TOs too

Maniac 09-29-2019 04:10 PM

Must be close to the endzone, because Ebron caught it.

Spike 09-29-2019 04:11 PM

Ebron with the TD. Thanks for catching that pass when the game is virtually over.

nate505 09-29-2019 04:12 PM

Fucking defense can't stop the run if the game depends on it.

NFL, outside of NE is so unpredictable.

I'm just glad he didn't celebrate it. He knew what the deal was.

Voosh 09-29-2019 04:13 PM

I haven't watched enough college ball this season to rate Lawrence. He still reminds me a bit of Mitch Kramer.

WaynesWorld87 09-29-2019 04:13 PM

And they get 7 yards on the 1st down carry.

Our defense has been softer than wet toilet paper today.

Spike 09-29-2019 04:14 PM

Why the hell didn't they try an onside kick. Defense can't stop shit.

Sheard helps, but we were giving up points when healthy. We are fast and inexperienced. But I worry about the size of the dline. We just got mauled on that 3rd and short. The right side just folded.

There's hardly such a thing any more with the new rules.

Spike 09-29-2019 04:15 PM

Jacobs is killing us.

Exactly. That was a horrible decision by Reich with how the defense has played the whole game.

Speaking of which...brb

Spike 09-29-2019 04:16 PM

Such a pathetic effort today. Painful to watch.

Colt Classic 09-29-2019 04:19 PM

I thought Deon Cain was supposed to be something decent. He didn't get separation at all today. I saw Inman had a decent day for SD. Probably couldn't use him here--gotta set ourselves up to look smart by having diamonds in the rough at WR 4 and 5.

pats just lucked into another win

Because he flashed in camp and stupid people were over hyping him as the second coming of Reggie Wayne. He is essentially a rookie who is coming off a knee tear. He is still figuring things out and should be allowed to but our top two vets are hurt. I think he has promise, but he needs to grow first.

You can't overload one side of the field. You can't start running until later now...or some sort of timing that messes it up due to a new rule. Haven't you seen the few onside kicks be wonky, trying to loop it over their heads to about the 35-type of kicks now?

That!!! Seriously lucky as the Jills played the hard.

Still a better chance than depending on our defense to stop them.

I hate the Patsies, but they have a damn good defense who won the game for them today. Something I wish we had.

Colt Classic 09-29-2019 04:36 PM

Good thing the Lions almost beat the Chiefs today--that'll wake them up and they'll be nice and focused for their next opponent on Sunday night.

Spike 09-29-2019 04:39 PM

Damn, Panthers beat the Texans.

Hoopsdoc 09-29-2019 04:58 PM

The entire team crapped the bed today. I mean, completely shat themselves.

I didn’t think Brissett played badly at all, aside from the int when he had to press. He just constantly got f****d by his teammates.

24-46, 265 yards and 3 touchdowns. That’s with at least 5 drops.

This is a game that will haunt us down the road. The Raiders are AWFUL. They won’t have more than 6 wins this year, I guarantee it. And we lost to them AT HOME.

Oldcolt 09-29-2019 05:12 PM

Won’t haunt us cause we ain’t going anywhere. Young inexperienced team and playing like it. Can’t overcome losing your top two receivers and the Dick Butkus of this defense

I thought the Colts would be 2-3 going into the bye, and baring a miracle next Sunday night they will be. Granted I thought they'd beat the Raiders and lose to the Falcons, but still, 2-3 it is.

I still have hope for the season though. This is one year where it's nice to see the bye week come early. This team really needs it.

Plus the AFC South doesn't look all that great this year. Somehow everyone but the Jags are 2-2. The rest of the games don't seem all that tough either after Kansas City...of course I say that thinking the Raiders game wasn't going to be tough either. Still, the Colts don't seem to have world beaters on their schedule this year other than KC. Maybe New Orleans if Brees comes back.

Hoopsdoc 09-29-2019 05:22 PM

The shot of TY on the sideline in the first half after yet another drop by Cain said it all. He was disgusted.

Honestly, I’m done with Ebron. I don’t care what he does going forward. A guy that shits himself that thoroughly when he’s needed the most can never be counted on. Fuck that guy. I wouldn’t give a damn if they cut him today.

The Cam Newton-less Panthers beat the Texans, on the Texans' home-field.

The only bad thing about that is that the Raiders are in the AFC, and the Falcons are in the NFC.

Being 2-2 is still being 2-2, but it is better to have lost out of your conference if you have playoff aspirations.
