Lmao, we're not even in this one.

Do something Ballard!

sherck 03-09-2017 05:15 PM

Reporting says Chris Baker is "only" making $6m+ per year.

Downright affordable compared to some other deals.

Not good.

yea, but, it's still the Texans. They'll find a way to fuck it up somehow. All we need to do is get back on track to being a good football team and we can reclaim the south.

Romo is old and injury prone. Let the Texans have him. Hope they have a good backup.

Wow, that seems like something the Colts should've done.

Plus, Ramsey is on the other side. Tough on paper.

At least we still have Bortles:rolleyes:

To the best of my knowledge, we still have all our 2018 draft picks.

In 2018? Like it doesn't surprise me that there isn't one in 2017, Grigson loved trading future picks away.

smitty46953 03-09-2017 05:31 PM

Kinda surprised we have not heard anything about Butler yet? Figured sign a few of our own early ...

smitty46953 03-09-2017 05:33 PM

The Bills have signed former Packers DB Micah Hyde.

Dam8610 03-09-2017 05:36 PM

Also, the move by the Browns was brilliant. Free draft pick for losing no cap room by cutting Osweiler for the Texans. The Colts should've done this, too.

Indiana V2 03-09-2017 05:37 PM

Can we fire Ballard yet?

sherck 03-09-2017 05:37 PM

I get not spending like a drunken sailor on free agency but it like this is Pagano calling the shots...no gameplan at the start and then "heroic" actions during 2nd and 3rd tier free agency.

Bah.... ..stroke......

Why'd we fire Grigson again?

FatDT 03-09-2017 05:42 PM

I want a guard and/or a NT. We can still get one of those. Maybe an ILB too. I'm relieved we're not signing Jeffery.

Because in addition to being bad at his job, he is an A-hole.

By all accounts, Ballard is at least likable.

See my note above. It would not shock me if we sign none or only one veteran defensive free agents.

I am becoming convinced that Ballard is going with the long view and will want to build the defense pretty much solely through the draft.

However, to give him time and take the pressure off, he is going to pump the offense up to rock star levels in order to win games.

Wide Receivers before Linebackers. Oh my.......

Cheers,

That's fine & I would be okay with that. But when the colts miss the playoffs again this year, & they will, Pagano better be out the door. We are going nowhere with him. He has got to go for this thing to turn around.
