And yet they still scored a touchdown, in spite of that ...... as I said earlier, true character is tested when the chips are down.

I hope we see more of Mack on this drive....he's a dangerous man!

Mack and Taylor in the backfield with Hines out wide.

Let them guess what is coming.

I like when we have both JT and Hines in at the same time. There is a play coming off that set where Hines motions in from the slot.

It's coming

Racehorse 09-19-2021 03:09 PM

I started Stafford on FF. That is why we are playing better defense. You all can thank me later.

Racehorse 09-19-2021 03:11 PM

MPJ just has a way of getting open until the Red Zone.

Chromeburn 09-19-2021 03:12 PM

Not the time to forget the run

nate505 09-19-2021 03:12 PM

Boy does Davenport suck

Racehorse 09-19-2021 03:12 PM

Wentz does remind me of Luck, but not quite as good. Could just be because he is running for his life, though.

Spike 09-19-2021 03:13 PM

Offensive line needs to get their shit together.

WaynesWorld87 09-19-2021 03:13 PM

Damn that Rams pass rush is scary. Every play feels like they are able to get pressure. Donald is one of the best players I've ever seen in how frequently he causes issues/pressure on pass plays. He's more than just an "all-timer". He's a legit transcendent defensive force.

Spike 09-19-2021 03:14 PM

If life was fair, we should be leading right now.

Wentz has handled it great ...... his avoiding sacks has been exemplary so far today.

I'm surprised the Colts aren't running some screen plays to counter that rush...that miss to Mack last drive was going to be a big gain!

nate505 09-19-2021 03:16 PM

It would be a tie game if Reich liked points.

McVey likes points, and this the Rams are up.

All true. And the plus is that this will likely be the toughest d-line they'll face all year, Fisher is only going to get better, AND Smith will hopefully be back soon.

Win or lose this week, they won't lose next week.

Spike 09-19-2021 03:18 PM

Another 3 and out by the Colts D.

CletusPyle 09-19-2021 03:19 PM

Oh yeah!

Spike 09-19-2021 03:19 PM

Awesome, TD Colts. Special Teams!!!!!

If life was fair, most people would realize that Dan Marino and Peyton Manning were both better quarterbacks than Tom Brady.

o

Brylok 09-19-2021 03:19 PM

It's like the defense literally pulled their heads outta their butts! TD!

Racehorse 09-19-2021 03:20 PM

We have the lead!!!!!

nate505 09-19-2021 03:20 PM

Momentum shift in full effect!!!!

Luck4Reich 09-19-2021 03:21 PM

Now who is getting Rammed?

Let's Go!!!!!!

I like to think that most people outside of New England and ESPN do realize that.

Chromeburn 09-19-2021 03:21 PM

Holy Shit! The other team actually made a mistake?

It started when 41 got ejected. Is he that important to the Rams defense?

nate505 09-19-2021 03:21 PM

Glad Dulin was kept. He just gets special teams.

Voosh 09-19-2021 03:22 PM

I knew Dulin was going to be good :D

That was somewhat reminiscent of when the Colts scored a TD on a blocked punt against the Cowboys in December of 2010,

If Reich takes the points on that first drive, they are up 7. If Davenport doesn't get blown up on that shuffle pass, they are up even more.

Overall, they maybe don't deserve the lead. But they have played just as well as the Rams have.

WaynesWorld87 09-19-2021 03:23 PM

Ok, for now at least, the football karma gods mostly balanced things out for us with that play. Granted, our two goal-to-go drives that ended in 0 points were our own doing with poor play calling and poor execution, and the Rams play just was a freakish fluke, but I'll take it.

Last year's Super Bowl just proved that Bruce Arians was the best coach the Colts ever had!

That play made life a little more fair I suppose.

Some games the karma sort of finds a way to balance itself out, and other games you just keep doing stupid shit (0 points on 2 goal-to-go drives) and it snowballs into a blowout loss. We may still end up losing, but I did not expect us to be leading in the 4th after how everything played out before that Rams punt.

Spike 09-19-2021 03:26 PM

Too easy for the Rams. D really sucked on that series.

Racehorse 09-19-2021 03:26 PM

Suddenly we forget Kupp is playing.

Luck4Reich 09-19-2021 03:26 PM

Damnit Defense:rolleyes:

CletusPyle 09-19-2021 03:26 PM

Disappointing response by the defense!
