a comedy of errors to day

Brylok 11-02-2025 04:08 PM

Yeah, I think it's not our day today. The Football Gods are working against us.

My stream must be a few seconds behind yours, so i saw your comment before the play…and so i thought “what bad shit is gonna happen now?”

Same. I was guessing JT fumbled. Didn't expect extremely lucky tip, but hey, this game just feels cursed.

Don't quit now, Colts ...... I know that you won't.

There's still a lot of football left to be played, and this 2025 Colts team is not like most of the post-Andrew Luck teams ...... this team is closer to the Philip Rivers 2020 Colts who went 11-5, and took the Bills right down to the wire in the playoffs on their homefield in northwestern New York State.

ChoppedWood 11-02-2025 04:14 PM

Kwitty Paye needs to be replaced. All he does is gets swallowed on every damn rush.

Team MUST make changes up front to have any chance of doing anything in the post season.

Racehorse 11-02-2025 04:14 PM

I hate to go there, but it seems there is a death of a family member every time we have an important game against Pittsburgh to curse our team. Dungy's son, and now Goncalves' dad.

Racehorse 11-02-2025 04:15 PM

Just hold them to 3 here

We're only halfway into the season, and the most pessimistic poster here on ColtFreaks is talking about the playoffs, as though the Colts' qualifying for a post-season berth is a foregone conclusion ...... that's a good thing.

o

ChoppedWood 11-02-2025 04:18 PM

Latu just got thrown back 3 yards on that shove creating the easy lane into the end zone.

Both edges require an upgrade. They are the biggest problem on this team. First two pics in this years draft need to be DE.

Brylok 11-02-2025 04:18 PM

This could get ugly.

Colts And Orioles 11-02-2025 04:19 PM

All 3 TD's that the Steelers have score have come off of Colts turnovers.

Barring significant injuries we look to be an easy playoff qualifier. However, we aren't doing anything without a huge change at the DE position. Every real QB is going to pick us apart standing back there scanning the field.

CletusPyle 11-02-2025 04:22 PM

That old Steeler coach needs to be drug tested!

I wonder if they still have the big bowl of "greenies" in the locker room pre-game?

Quaaludes?

Hoopsdoc 11-02-2025 04:25 PM

It’s never good to lose and to lose like this is especially demoralizing.

Not gonna win many games with 4 turnovers.

I was afraid a correction like this was coming. The question is, how do they respond?

True, but 4 TOs is ugly to me

The playoffs are most certainly not a foregone conclusion for a team laying an egg like this, with their brutal remaining schedule.

I think my "ugly" zone starts at 30 if the losing team has a single digit score. Like, 31-7 would be ugly.

Racehorse 11-02-2025 04:30 PM

Points are points, but seven is better

CletusPyle 11-02-2025 04:30 PM

Kenny needs a pick 6 and we are right back in it!

True, but this is probably the league's toughest home field and one we just suck at across the history of the match up.

We have a very potent offense and I think we will be able to score enough to get enough wins to make the PO's.

Trade deadline is Tuesday I think? We better make a couple moves, or, maybe the playoffs aren't a given.

We need to put JTT in in place of Paye and just see what he has to offer, he cannot be worse.

Or Jones

Racehorse 11-02-2025 04:35 PM

Jaylon Jones, that is

Racehorse 11-02-2025 04:36 PM

Offense has a chance. JT needs to take one to the house here

ChoppedWood 11-02-2025 04:36 PM

Okay, one quick hit TD here, and this is suddenly real interesting!

YDFL Commish 11-02-2025 04:38 PM

We are still in this, Freaks!

Racehorse 11-02-2025 04:39 PM

So much for that

ChoppedWood 11-02-2025 04:40 PM

OL has been total shit today! Total shit.

Brylok 11-02-2025 04:40 PM

And now it's over. Football Gods have spoken.

CletusPyle 11-02-2025 04:40 PM

That should do it!
