Agree. Right now we have the most nondescript, mediocre at best group of starting skill position players. Even when you throw T.Y. and Mack back into the mix, it's above average at best because our starting QB and WR2 through WR5 are so bad.

Not as bad as we did. Both teams got screwed, but regaining possession near midfield after a takeaway trumps gaining 8 more yards of field position by a wide-margin.

I think they ruled it incomplete and the colts just challenged the fumble recovery Had the tacks challenged again they would've gotten the ball at the spot of the fumble .

Didn't say we shouldn't. Go back and read my previous post. I was complaining about the fact that we got screwed on the call.

At the end of the day, we got screwed the worst. Instead of starting this drive near FG range, we're backed up deep in our own territory.

Gotta admit the refs are taking the fun out of this season with their off the wall calls and blatant misses and bullshit calls. Never going to be perfect but this year really seems to stand out for me.

I wonder if the refs missed the call, or if they felt kind of bad that the Colts were going to get ultra-screwed if they had placed the ball at midfield ........ it was a fumble, and the Colts did recover the ball (albeit being disputed as to whether or not he was still in bounds when he made the recovery), so it would have really sucked big time if the referee's mistake in the first place (not ruling it a catch and a fumble) would have added insult to injury for the Colts.
