The best teams have leadership and vision from top to bottom - GM, coaches, vet players. The Colts have none. They have none because of Ballard’s team building philosophy. I will point out again Ballard downplaying vets because he expect his coaches to set the culture. It was one of the first things that turned me off about him. That and his gifting of positions to young players and his plan to slow roll team building with Luck on the roster. Those three things told me he was going to be a shit GM. And he’s proven to be exactly that. He’s built a roster full of decent players who lack leadership and accountability. He’s failed AR way more than AR has failed the team. Those things from AR are a symptom of Ballard’s leadership.

That's a lot of words when you can just say that Ballard is an incompetent dipshit & a fraud.

Totally agree. The removal of that fucking arrogant scumbag would IMMEDIATELY improve this team. The dude is a con man, a fraud, and complete and total blow hard with nothing behind it but fucking unwarranted hubris. IMO, he is perhaps the worst GM in all of sports. I cannot wait to see the headline announcing he has been removed from the building.

This is the critical part of your statement. The current players do not know what it takes to win and will never know, until leaders come in who will raise the standard. The bar is so low right now, that I could jump over it.

Replace the entire defensive staff, because not a single position group on that side of the ball is performing.

I pray it happens but I’m not convinced it will. I’m afraid he will convince Irsay he just needs one more year for it all to finally come together. Seems crazy to think but then I see he still has supporters on here willing to do just that.

Ballard is a snake oil salesman for sure.

I do wonder if something is up with the team and AR. Steichen just saying he is sore and not letting him speak to the media just doesn't sit well with me. something seems off here. and its the colts, so there probably is something dumb going on.

will be very telling if AR is out again next week

Thought the same thing. No sign of injury at all to end the Denver game, then all the sudden he isn't practicing, they are "optimistic" but then he is OUT.

At some point the levee's gonna break if all this smoke has fire behind it no matter how hard they try to keep it under wraps. McAfee's comments absolutely allude to it.

Something is definitely up, Steichen has done AR no favors. AR has regressed and Steichens play calling and mishandling of a young project QB has been a disaster. Not to mention blasting him in the media. Basically calling him a pussy saying he’s out for the game with back soreness.

he ran a lot against the Titans. backs are weird and it could pop up at anytime during the week. but everything around the situation just seems off.

could be nothing but I just assume with this team, something dumb is happening

But again what’s that say about the leader of your team sitting out with “back spasms” yet Pittmans gutting it out every week with back problems
