Yeah, that was a bit much. The bleakness I'm feeling about this team/organization at this point makes it seem like that though.

I still think they’ll put it all together

They got paid, with money comes raised expectations but that can also fuck your game up and it seems a lot of these guys are playing uptight mainly Ryan

New QB hasn’t played meaningful football in years

New DC

Once they get on the same page and start believing they’ll be fine

I wouldn't say I'm giving up on them, and I'm pretty sure they'll be better in November than they are now. That said, if it takes too long the damage will be done enough to miss the playoffs again.

Also, the thing that makes me want to give up on them is just how the rolled over and died on Sunday. I get losing, it's the NFL, but that game was played with no heart, no brains, no adjustments, no nothing. It was hard to believe that was a professional football team playing at all.

True. However, I am tired of Groundhog day.

Every year is different we opened last season with back to back home losses

So now we're blaming the weather for the shit show that was last week now? This might have some merit if the Jagoffs only started dominating late in the game when fatigue certainly does set in, but they bent us over and did whatever they wanted to from the coin toss on. Also, who's fault is it that we had to play OT in Houston?

And no way is Pierce our #2 WR right now. Hopefully he becomes that as the season goes on, but currently he's more in the ~WR4 range.

There's a big difference in opponents from last year to this year. Last year we lost to what we become a 7-10 Seattle team and then to the team that would go on to win the Superbowl in week 2. We also showed a lot of improvement from week 1 to 2 as we took LAR down to the wire and only lost by 3.

As opposed to this year where we were lucky to squeak out a tie against probably one of the 2-3 worst teams in the league and then of course where we followed that up by getting skull fucked up the ass by a team the rest of the league is 28-2 against since the beginning of the '20 season.

Hey if Frank can blame the day of the week being wrong for a guy to play, then hell yeah man, weather is a good call from fans.

Frank will likely add that one to his list. At this point does he have enough to just create one of those wheel of fortune type spinners where he just spins and randomly assigns blame?
