In a half which we mostly dominated, we're now down 14-13. This no longer feels like the first weeks of the season where, after we won a few in a row at least, you just kinda felt like when we got up 7-0 or 14-3/14-7,after scoring on our first two possessions, we'd eventually just open it and when comfortably because the offense was churning and couldn't be stopped.
We've lost a little bit of that magic the last 1.5 games with just silly, self-inflicted wounds. Need the offense to recover and got get us points before the half. |

What a shitstorm that 2nd quarter was. In a game in which we were comfortably dominating for 1.5 quarters, we're down 14-13 at the half and the Falcons get the ball to start the second half.
Knew it was a potentially bad sign when, on 3rd and 2 and 4th and two from the Falcons 27 on our first drive, we decide to pass it twice, ending that drive with zero points. |
I still want DJ to be extended. He reminds me of Peyton, who was great but always good for a turnover or two against good teams.
