24-3 at the half.

I hope it ends up 48-3, at least.

I don’t want Jeff Saturday back.

He is in WAY over his head.

Because if he can't get in now, what hope does he have of playing anywhere ???

o

Other teams won't base their opinion of Ehlinger on whether or not a novice head coach plays him in a game which is over at halftime for a team with a 4-10-1 record and an awful offensive line ...... really, they aren't that naive.

This team...it's about as bad as I've felt for a Colts team in ages. At the very least since the Brissett led Colts, but perhaps even since the year Manning was hurt. Actually scratch that, at least then there was Luck to look forward to.

This is approaching pre-Manning level days...though at least those teams had heart.

Brylok 01-01-2023 03:30 PM

Has an NFL team ever had two QBs retire the same season after they both started multiple games in that season? Colts might set another record. Ryan and Foles are DONE

They won't? Why not? These are the type of games that anyone with promise should get some time in.

Stroud had some impressive moments but I always think of Vince Young when I see college QBs with questionable prospects suddenly elevate their play in a bowl game. There’s a risk of overestimating his potential from that 1 game.

First of all, do you really think that they will take the decision/decisions of Jeff Saturday seriously ??? Saturday had virtually no coaching experience whatsoever before Jim Irsay anointed him as the head coach of an NFL team.

Secondly, other team's GM's are not blind, deaf, and dumb. They can see that the difference between leaving Foles in there to get beaten up and putting Ehlinger in there to get beaten up is tantamount to rearranging the chairs on the decks of the Titanic.

Ehlinger may or may not be in the NFL this season, but it will have nothing to do with Jeff Saturday's game plan for a team whose offensive line couldn't protect Michael Vick, let alone Nick Foles or Sam Ehlinger against a team which is manhandling them like they are a junior college team.

As is the interim OC, Jimmy Olson.

Brylok 01-01-2023 03:36 PM

Clearly this is all Frank's fault. He's sitting in Bob Evans eating his after church lunch and everything...

nate505 01-01-2023 03:37 PM

I like how Saturday sucking it up somehow validates Reich sucking it up.

TheMugwump 01-01-2023 03:41 PM

Sadly, all four of the other teams we want to see win today are losing.

Guess they have decided to Suck for Luck...err...Tank for Trevor...uhmmm...Stink for Stroud?

Hoping that best OT will be there at 5.

Brylok 01-01-2023 03:43 PM

Lord forbid, but what happens if Sam gets hurt? Parris Campbell at QB?

nate505 01-01-2023 03:44 PM

Welp, that sequence pretty much is the Colts season in a nutshell.

Turnover, horrible offense, fails to capitalize.

Brylok 01-01-2023 03:44 PM

Thibodaux is beastly against bad quarterbacks

Matt Ryan.

And if Ryan gets hurt, then we dig up the corpse of the late Tom Matte.

CletusPyle 01-01-2023 03:45 PM

Saturday had huge bloated balls going for that FG.....:D

I don’t know what you’re trying to say with this post. He clearly coached this team into mediocrity last year and even worse this year. The season was lost before it began. He had to go. The fact the team stinks even with him gone doesn’t mean he wasn’t the problem. This is still his offense.

YDFL Commish 01-01-2023 03:47 PM

Buckner is not quitting on this team. Glad too see somebody gives a fuck!

I heard somewhere that Mo Allie Cox played basketball (not football) in college. So using Colt-Logic, he will be the emergency QB.

Just making a joke. Trying to lighten the mood a bit.

Those teams are still in their games though, and importantly the broncos don’t have anything to lose by winning, so they have a shot.

nate505 01-01-2023 03:47 PM

How thrilled must the Giants be knowing to clinch a playoff spot that they had the Colts at home on the schedule.

Probably even more thrilled than the Chargers knowing they just had to win in Indianapolis last week.

It's a sour bunch around here.

Yes, I'm definitely part of the sour :D

He's a pro's pro, and out best overall player. Rock solid baller.

CletusPyle 01-01-2023 03:49 PM

Not that I want to see it happen, but if a Colts player lays Jones out in this game, and then does a snow angel, I bet it's a 15 yard penalty!

Actually Jelani Woods is probably the emergency QB. He was a QB his 1st year or 2 in college.

Spike 01-01-2023 03:52 PM

Texans and Colts both getting blown out. Goodhell just came out with a statement saying that next weeks game between these two fucked up teams has been cancelled because nobody really gives a shit about it and the NFL has to protect the Shield.

Broncos don't have a 1st round pick. Chicago is not taking a QB. Cardinals are not taking a QB.

At least Flowers is kind of a bright spot.

Brylok 01-01-2023 03:57 PM

The Giants "not having a game like this all season" and "winning every phase of the game" = Colts have quit.

I hope so ...... I would hate to have to resort to using Matte.

CletusPyle 01-01-2023 03:58 PM

Sam should have been our QB once we realized that Ballard fucked up again, so after about the 4th game!:D

The game has been moved to 7:30am Wednesday. On Amazon.

nate505 01-01-2023 03:59 PM

I got a chuckle out of Pittman making the spot a couple feet further on his own.

CletusPyle 01-01-2023 03:59 PM

Not sure how Saturday can even walk with such huge testicles, done went and gone for it on 4th down!

Spike 01-01-2023 04:01 PM

Wentz is killing the Redskins chances, LOL!

Brylok 01-01-2023 04:01 PM

$20M well spent on that fat fuck Nelson.

ChoppedWood 01-01-2023 04:01 PM

Nelson to the Pro Bowl?

Dude should probably just retire before the entire NFL community recognizes how trash he is now.
