Could be. I can’t find it right now, but I believe there was a quote from Ballard about the team being further along than he anticipated. This could be an indication of that. If so I hope it extends to free agency this offseason as well.

I'm sure Ballard has probably said similar things in different interviews - but recently, VeveJones007 posted a snippet from a Holder podcast which stated that the team was ahead of his initial schedule. I linked the post below:
