We really taking these next two years and trying to get a SB? Buckner move. Two years for Costanza. Two year deal to Rivers? I'm not sold this is a window we can fit through. Especially with the 49ers, Chiefs and Ravens looking like beasts. I'm more of a build it through the draft guy and supplement through free agency and this is the opposite. I'm looking forward to the production that these guys bring but it just feels like we will be just good enough to miss the SB and have a garbage draft position. Like always. But screw it. Frankenstein this bitch together with free agents and take a run at it. I will say we need a QB developing during this time though.
All that being said the next two years should be entertaining. Not just for the Colts but league wide. With so much craziness all around I can't wait for Sept. Also, Fuck Andrew Luck. |

Rivers is going to be a complete disaster for this team.
He is too old and a complete statue in the pocket with a noodle arm. He will have more ints than tds guaranteed. Lets not forget the current QB was 5-2 and 16/4 when the WR/TEs were healthy. I'd rather roll with him and spend money else where if we are not drafting a QB. |

Guaranteed??? Give me some reasons for this prediction |
Any guess on what it would take to acquire Carr? Would you give up #34 if necessary? I think I would.

Leave me off that list. I'm on record saying his ceiling is that of good backup. As far as your naughty innuendo, I'm satisfied with my BF for those needs....even if he is a Giants fan. :p |

I don’t think he was saying it’s the highest priority. I think he was all but saying Hurts isn’t accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Colts have a very good O line and they can run the ball. Which means who ever the QB is, he can count on play action and give him time to find a reciever or check down and just move the ball down the field.
Rivers may not be able to throw the ball 70 yards, but he doesn't need to. He can dink and dunk and once and a while take a shot while the run game beats the opposition to a pulp |

Now need some playmakers in the receiving core. And if it doesn’t work, it’s a one year deal. Better than seeing JB drive this thing into the ground. |

Rivers is not done, where people are coming up with this is beyond me. He can still play and will actually have a home field advantage not to mention isn’t afraid of game winning moments

I just listened to the JMV interview with Phillip Rivers and, despite the past, I'm sold and I'm anxious to see what we can do this season...if we have one. Rivers sounds like a leader. His interview sounds like Peyton used to sound (but obviously he's not Peyton). I hope we can have a chance to watch.

He will need people to throw the ball to. Our current WR group is bottom half of the league. Also need another TE |

Also the WR group wasnt much different from the group that Luck had the previous year. So the group will improve already with Rivers throwing. Even at his best Brissett just isnt good enough. I dont care how good the receivers you put around him. |
