Ballard loves to trade down, absolutely loves it.

Why? So much talent on the board. Get a 3 out of it next time though.

I think Mayer is going to be very good!

But I guess the cheerleaders wanted Mo Cox!:D

Darnell Washington is still on the board and will probably be better.

ChaosTheory 04-28-2023 07:37 PM

SEA takes D. Hall.

I agree. Didn't see Mayer dropping like he did, though.

That's more disappointing than Mayer.

smitty46953 04-28-2023 07:38 PM

Traded again with Falcons

AlwaysSunnyinIndy 04-28-2023 07:38 PM

Colts trade down again - now with Atlanta

Dam8610 04-28-2023 07:38 PM

Got a 4 to go down to 44.

Probably happened right after the Hall pick. JMS or Washington at 44 would make this round fantastic.

CletusPyle 04-28-2023 07:40 PM

Colts must see some real treasure in the later rounds!

More swings = more hits, and more ammo = more ability to trade up in R3.

yes, 44 and 110 for our 38

smitty46953 04-28-2023 07:45 PM

Colts have two 4th rounders and four 5th rounders.

Generally how trading down works. :D

Ha. I read the 44 as "4th" and even that doesn't make sense because it's a 5th. Live to fight another day.

Colts are dodging bullets with these picks as far as I'm concerned.

Dam8610 04-28-2023 07:50 PM

Damn missed Foskey, too.

You like him more than White?

smitty46953 04-28-2023 07:52 PM

I liked Foskey at Notre Dame, nice pick for Saints.

He's more of a power edge IMO. Colts need guys to fill LEO.

Dewey 5 04-28-2023 07:53 PM

Some young guns now in the AFC South
Lawrence, Stroud, Richardson & Levis.

Dam8610 04-28-2023 07:55 PM

Missing Ojulari is even worse.

ChaosTheory 04-28-2023 07:55 PM

Edges flying off.

ChaosTheory 04-28-2023 07:57 PM

Musgrave gone. Washington still there.

Dam8610 04-28-2023 07:57 PM

Dodged a bullet with Musgrave. Washington or JMS will be available at 44.

Dam8610 04-28-2023 08:01 PM

Tippmann over JMS? Wow.

smitty46953 04-28-2023 08:02 PM

With pick 43 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Jets are selecting OL Joe Tippman from Wisconsin. Great Pick

ChaosTheory 04-28-2023 08:02 PM

Is Branch to Colts accurate?

: With pick 44 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, the #Colts are selecting CB Julius Brents

Warren Central product. Played at Iowa and Kansas State.

Long, long corner at a big-time position of need.

Tall long fast, fits Ballard to a T.

ChaosTheory 04-28-2023 08:08 PM

Off my radar guy. 6'3 CB, monster times in the quickness drills, 34" arms.

Julius Brents was drafted with pick 44 of round 2 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 9.99 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 4 out of 2222 CB from 1987 to 2023. http://ras.football/ras-information/...3041&ovl=Colts

Okay, so just look at RAS the rest of the way.
