Yeah, the schedule is much easier, but you're still hoping for 8-2 or 7-3 down the stretch. That's just not going to happen.

Oakland and NYG are games that should be win. That is 4 wins

The rest are toss ups I think. THey could go say 4-3 in the rest of the games, get to 8 wins and sneak in depending on how the rest of the teams do in the remaining games.

5-2 in the other games to get to 9 wins would be more confident for the division, but probably not happening, I agree.

Not likely to happen, but also not crazy to think 8-8 could win the division.

But as we realistically have such a small chance of getting into the playoff or even making a run for this division, what I would expect to see is solid execution again. This would imply that that the coaching regime as well as team leaders are instilling a sense of discipline that stresses consistency and the ability to adapt.
.

Interesting that you mention this.....I saw Frank's locker room speech on Facebook after the Buffalo win and then heard his Monday night debrief on 1070 The Fan.....the central point he mentioned several times was his message to the team of "doing the routine" really well.

8-8, worst place to be.

WR Martavis Bryant (5th round pick in trade or UFA at end of season)

OG Gabe Jackson (4th round pick in trade; current contract is for next 4 1/2 years)

I was interested in seeing if there were defensive players whom I would be interested in but....there are not.

Walk Worthy,

Ok, now you're just dumpster diving!

It's the same message that Dungy gave, over and over and over again.

Also it's really what the Tom Moore/Peyton Manning offense was built on. Run a few plays really, really well, execute them to perfection each and every time, and you will see positive results.

Give Vinny the week off. Two point conversions, only need to hit on 50% to break even. Work on 4th and short yardage plays in practice.

Which is the exact opposite of how this offense functions/operates.

I'm not sure that's true. They run a lot of formations, but often you will see the same type of play.

It makes it really hard to figure out what they will do.

To a certain extent you are correct. But, by no means would I consider this a complex offense either.

Colts should win this.
Gruden has demolished a team that looked really promising for the future. He better pull a rabbit out of the hat over the next two years, or bowl-cut Davis might have a disaster on his hands.
