For just the Eagles or both Eagles and Jets? Seriously, he had an extra shot at sucking.

There is a lot of breakdown of the why in the post, worthwhile read. It is all stuff we saw with our eyes and bitched about in posts, but seeing a statistical analysis of it is interesting. Show just how bad Clappy and crew were, fuck those guys.

The Colts and the Jets were the proverbial Washington Generals of the NFL in 2017.

You just knew that the Globetrotters (Colts opponents/Jets opponents) were going to find a way to come back and win the game at the final buzzer/gun.

You clearly don't pay attention. Playcalling was the biggest issue I had with Pagano, and ultimately the reason I think he lost his job. Just because I don't agree with the asinine opinion held by most here that he's the worst head coach in NFL history (which more than anything shows how spoiled this fanbase has been for the last two plus decades) doesn't mean I can't levy, see the reasoning behind, and agree with an actual fair criticism with a legitimate basis behind it. You confuse "not conforming with board groupthink" with "lofty praise".

The coach before Pagano was incompetent, too. So hardly spoiled.

To be more accurate, it's been a decade since this fanbase has been spoiled by any coach.

Spoiled in results. This team hasn't had a truly great head coach since Shula. It hasn't had a truly terrible coach really ever, but Meyer is the closest thing I can find to one.

..Buddy, he couldn't get the ball on the correct hash in a snow bowl to let Adam V have a chance to win it. Put me on that hash coach..........and he failed.

Pagano, a great guy. Lousy head coach. It would be worse if he was a great coach, and a lousy human being. Oh, he would be Belicheat.

Your recollection of history must be foggy. Here is a list of terrible Colts HC's:

Lindy Infante, Rod Dowhower, Frank Kush, Mike McCormack. Meyer was actually a decent HC.

McCormack, Kush, Venturi and Dowhower qualify I suppose. Infante made the playoffs in one of two seasons.

Pagano is not a great guy. He has done some good things charity wise, but the man lacks the integrity of a great guy. Just ask all the old coaches. Ask Grigson. Pagano let a lot of people take the fall for his terrible coaching. No great guy does that

Ok, I can see your point.

I'm not sure I would know who to believe between Pagano and Grigson.
