Frankly, I don't know if I care about any of the WR5 options - I think most would go unclaimed and make it to practice squad other than maybe Carolina (Reich) or Philly (Sirianni / Brady) making a claim on Strachan. It doesn't sound like any of the WR5's really stood out this training camp / preseason with their Special Teams play.
I would be more concerned about carrying 5 TE's right now just because we don't know how severe Jelani Woods hamstring tear is and how soon he will be back to playing. Just the other day, Nate Atkins found out and revealed that Woods partially tore his hamstring (it was not just a strain). And the Colts have been less than clear about the injury and when they think he will be back. |
