I'm not. Bears fans pipe dream of getting our 1 and 2 and next year's 1 and 2 was exactly that, a pipe dream. Quite frankly this was an overpay by Carolina, but now they get Stroud.

Welp, it’s either Levis or Richardson then, unless Carolina or Houston throws a curveball.

If it’s between those two, I want Richardson.

Jalen Carter and wait until next year. Tank for #1 and get whoever the top guy is then.

Tennessee already beat us to Tankathon 23’.

I would have thought we would have to give up at least what the Giants did in '04 to get Eli: #4 overall, this years 3rd rounder, next years 1st and 5ths.

For the Bears to move down 5 more spots the Panthers gave up the #9 overall, end of 2nd rounder, next year's 1st, '25's 2nd, and a productive WR. Seems pretty comparable to above when you consider the Bears are moving down 5 more spots than what the Chargers did in '04.

Depends on how you value DJ Moore. Still think it's an overpay, but that's irrelevant unless they really love Levis.

If Richardson was the target all along, I'm on board with ChoppedWood, fire everyone.

Not if the Colts have Sam Ehlinger, Will Levis, or Anthony Richardson as their starting QB. Any of those 3 will put the Colts LEAGUES ahead of the field for the #1 pick in 2024.

Panthers were the least likely of the 5 QB teams I thought would land the #1. I didn't think CHI would get out of the Carter/Anderson range. I guess nobody else thinks any of these QB's are worth that second 1st rounder.

Good that we're not overpaying, good that Irsay isn't pushing to do so.

So either they feel that Steichen can work with any of these QB's or those early reports about them liking Levis may have been true or they're actually going to say fuck any of these QB's and either take a stud/trade back.

Rumor now is Arizona is shopping the 3rd pick. Colts might be left with the 4th choice.
