WTF is Brock Purdy???

Mr. Irrelevant. One of the reasons I don't put a ton of stock in talent evaluators or prognosticators. They miss as much as they hit. Hard to evaluate confidence and mental toughness.

No doubt he looks really good so far. Will be interesting to see how he continues to play now that D coordinators are getting some game film on him.

Total fucking horse-shit.

The 49ers had a pick-6 that was nullified by a roughing the passer call. The announcer said, "It was the way he finished it when he tackled the quarterback."

Really ??? The way he "finished" it ??? That's what everybody is taught in football, on both sides of the ball, to FINISH the play ...... on offense you keep trying to advance the ball after contact, and on defense your wrap the player up AND bring him to the ground to make sure that he is down. Make HARD tackles, right ???

The call was absolutely ricockulous. I get that you don't want defensive players lifting up QBs and slamming them on the turf, but that's not what happened on the play at all. It was about as clean of a tackle as you can get. It's like the refs though Bosa should have stopped in mid air and placed some pillows on the ground under Smith before finishing the tackle.
