Not to mention Brown. Makes a lot of sense for them if they think their window is now. With the short shelf life on RBs, I’d think it is. They’ll likely get 2 goods years out of the two. Worth the gamble. Otherwise I think they’d take a step back this year with the other losses.

I don't think this makes up for the other losses, but makes them a little better than they were last week. Their CB room is an unknown, and their OL is suspect. I think we can get to Tannehill and make it a long day for him, frustrating Henry, Jones and Brown in the process.

Smith did that in 1 game

But in the span of 8 games (Yes he played 9, but 2 of those were like 25% of the snaps, so I count those 2 as one game) he had 774 yards.

That's 1500 yards had he played the entire season.

If he can stay healthy, he is a guy who can get the titans big yardage numbers every game, even at 32 years old.

But Xavier Rhodes has a history of playing Julio (and other big bodied possession WR's like A.J. Brown) very well.

The question then would be: "Who's going to cover 'the other guy".

Well we still have Kenny Moore, and I remain optimistic about Rock and Marvell Tell and TJ Carrie.

I wouldn't say I am optimistic about any of these guys just yet. I do hold out high hopes for Tell, I think he played well the second half of his rookie year after switching from safety in college. I hope that that bodes well for him At 6-2 he is a bigger cb and we could use that. Rock is in a tough situation. He has a reputation for using his hand inappropriately, refs are not going to give him much leeway. He seems to have the physical tools but is not progressing as you would like. He needs to get his shit together this season or he may be gone. TJ was solid last year. I hope he can repeat. The best way to upgrade these dudes is to improve the pass rush.

We're set up to run the ball down people's throats, wear them down, and then steam roll them with Taylor. If/when they stack the box: Wentz has deep strike ability (I hope) and can make throws all over the field. The offense should be well balanced. Colts defense is iffy regarding CBs and safeties (kinda), but I'm not worried about Julio Jones at all. Pascal will probably have a better year than Jones.

Pascal. http://https://www.pro-football-refe...P/PascZa00.htm

Jones. http://https://www.pro-football-refe...J/JoneJu02.htm

He’s not Jones but he played in every game, and he scored more TDs with a new Qb. And hes a bit more affordable under the cap.

I know hes not a HOF candidate. But he made plays and was available, which a more talented Campbell hasnot been for the colts

If he does, and if he is still our WR 4 by the end of the year, I like our chances in the division.

If he is injured half the season it could happen I guess.
