Granted, offensive holding can probably be called on every NFL play. But don't make it easy on the refs to call it! Taylor's called back TD run was a think of beauty. |
I'm not sure, but I believe you can legally grab the jersey provided your arms are between your shoulders. Where they run into trouble is when they're still holding the jersey when the opponent is no longer in that space. You have to grab him and drive him, once he breaks that containment, you must release the jersey. At least that's how I think the rule applies.
