I don't know if we could have outbid Carolina (or would've done it) but I will always give you credit for recognizing Stroud was worth the price. AR is probably 2nd best but that isn't saying much at the moment!

It's bad enough that this sounds like a home game for the Bears ...... so the least the Colts can do is send those fuckers home to Illinois with a loss, and spare the Colts fans that are at the game the embarrassment and humiliation of seeing smug Bears fans celebrate in their stadium.

That’s how you alleviate the pressure on a young QB. Do t make him think it’s all on him, that he has to do everything. He will relax

I'll admit I was very young in 98, did Peyton ever throw an INT into triple coverage when he had a wide open TD next to it as a rookie?

Absolutely could've, would've is a skill issue.

How shitty was Peyton after only six starts? How about Josh Allen? Troy Aikman?

AR is younger and less experienced than any of them by this time in his career. He'll be fine.

Can we at least give the guy a year before writing him off?

He made horrible decisions that first year. Double coverage triple coverage, didn’t care. Really in his first three he had a lot of int’s. He just threw out of it. He would say the only way out of a slump is to ride it out and keep slinging it.

You dumbass, the Bears traded to the top spot because they wanted Williams. They weren’t going to trade back and miss their guy after they gave all that up to get up there.

It’s so fucking stupid that you keep saying this shit. It makes you look retarded.

I get that you wanted Stroud and you want to blame Ballard for not getting him. But no GM in NFL history could have pulled that off. Vince Fucking Lombardi couldn’t have done that.

I hope you're right. The question is how long of a leash will they give him to do that? Bryce got 18 games.
