Why Colts were comfortable letting Matt Eberflus take defensive staff to Chicago

I guess my point was that they can talk all they want but they were not happy with this defense. When Sirianni left they promoted from within to keep continuity. If they loved the way this defense was being coached the could have promoted Williams like rcubed said. Eberflus wanted him, I'm guessing, because he will run Eberflus' defense. He could have done the same thing here. We choose to look outside, after that it makes total sense to let everyone make their own way.
