Default Does anyone else feel like they've been out of the NFL for a year?

Grigs/Pagano sucked the football life from my body.

No Andrew Luck to watch last year ...who at the very least is a very entertaining player to watch (even if a bit frustrating too).

I basically watched the Colts just to see how bad they sucked ...flipping channels ...waiting each game so that Pagano would be fired and maybe get a decent draft pick. Didn't even pay attention to Coltsfreaks.

And the longest sports offseason ever.

Finally. I'm excited to see a Colts game mean something again.

Go blue.

The 2017 Luckless season was somewhat reminiscent of the 2011 Manningless season.

Since Manning's 2nd season in the NFL (1999), this team has been extremely dependent on All-World QB's.

I’m excited to see the offense Reich brings in. I have a feeling it will be very close to what I have been wanting for a long time

I mean Irsay literally punted on a meaningful 2017 season. Yes, we all missed a season's worth of games anyone should give a shit about.

Yep, it was at a point for me that I started hating Irsay for hiring these two bastards. Both Griggs and Pags were way out of their league. Neither one of them knew what the hell they were doing. Luck was the only reason both of them lasted as long as they did.

Completely get ya.

I didn't watch all that much last season. I found myself deciding I would do other things instead whereas in the past I put Colts games at the top of the priority ladder. I still rooted for them and got pissed when they lost but to your point, I did not feel engaged. I feel a stronger desire to watch it this year due to the changes. However, that being said, my global interest in the product has slumped tremendously because of all the asinine things the punk ass bitch commissioner has done to ruin this thing- to me it's on the NASCAR parallel, a titan with a seemingly infinite topside and invincible attention domain that now looks like a 2nd rate county fair dog and pony show.

The fish rots from the head.

I don't blame him that much for hiring them. I blame him for actually retaining them. Remember that day when most of us expected him to fire at least one of them (after the season had ended) and the lunatic rewarded them both with a new contract!

Yup. Irsay permanently went down a few notches to me for the total idiocy of keeping Pagano.

I feel like this season is halfway there. Guys coming back from injury. Lots of youth all over the team. New schemes on both sides. I expect lots of growing pains and probably more than a few losses in the first half. I expect them to finish stronger in the second half of the season once things start to sink in.
