The problem with the O-line is bad.
We may need to draft C and RT in the next draft (unless we finish so low that we get a shot at a top LT). Ryan Kelly has not been good since he suffered multiple injuries and Braden Smith has not been good since he returned from injured last year. Too many holes to fill for one draft! |

He's shockingly bad. I am like one of the worst at noticing the performance of OLmen, but even Stevie Wonder could see how horrible he is out there.

From the end of the second quarter to when Browning went out, on any 3rd down play, they'd line Chubb and Browning up on the right and have Browning stunt. This confused Matt Pryor EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they did it, which had to have been at least 8. They got a ton of their pressures off of that one thing.

How the fuck are they still playing him over Dennis Kelly?

You know what? I'll agree with this. Dennis Kelly is bad, but he's not Matt Pryor bad. Personally, I'd put Braden back at RT and put Will Fries in at RG, but Pryor has to go. He needs to start playing Left Off, as in left off the roster.

Pryor sucks. But moving Braden Smith from RT to RG was just plain stupid.

Kelly has started 51 games in the league, included 16 at RT for Tenn in '20 when the won the division. He might not be great, but he's probably at least decent. But putting Smith back at RT and Fries at RG would be better than Smith at RG and Pryor at RT too.

I wonder how much of this is Ballard trying to prove that he's right about Pryor being an OT.
