But you need another WR somewhere. I don't care if its draft, FA or trade. And it can't be some second/third rate on the cheap crap like Ryan Grant. Or a 34 year old Andre Johnson

Its not like they don't have the FA money to do it. You eventually have to spend some of that money.
I am sure it will be addressed, just because the focus is o one thing doesn't mean everything else is ignored. I think how much they focus on WR depends on what they really think about Cain.

You can't depend on Cain to emerge as the #2 option. That is a huge risk for a relatively low round draft pick going into his first season actually playing and coming off a serious injury.

You need to have a plan in place other than that at WR. The attitude with him this year should be if he emerges as a huge alternative to Hilton, great, but he can't be the primary plan for the #2 WR spot.

If Tyrell Williams hits the market, he'd be a great add. Other than him, I'd take Golden Tate as a stopgap. The WR market is very thin. Considering the 3 TEs the Colts have, I'm okay with Inman starting next year as the #2 WR, personally.

That was my favorite show, really liked Grady. He had some great insight and insider info.

Smitty, aren’t you a mod? Can you sticky this as a top thread this offseason? My sanity may depend upon it.

Colts fans love their WR sleepers. How many guys now were the up and coming dude that was going to blow up? There was Chris Carter's kid who had a good camp then fell off the map. Who was that big guy UDFA of Polian's that everyone hyped? We will hit on one eventually. But yeah, can't assume it one will develop.

Deon Cain is not the same. He's more in the mold of Marques Colston in that he's a talented player that got dinged for character concerns. Most places had him rated as second round talent, but he fell to the sixth. Of there's a WR sleeper that's going to work out, it's Deon Cain.

That said, he shouldn't be counted on as WR2 next year. Resigning Inman should be one of the top priorities this offseason. After that, I'd be okay just adding a couple developmental bodies because Reich's offense is heavy TE usage, but I wouldn't mind signing Tyrell Williams or Golden Tate as a stopgap.

Only problem is now Cain’s coming off an injury and he’s even more of a question mark than he was last year
