For reference, Khalil Mack was 251, ran 4.65.
Chubb is 269 ran 4.66.
Joey Bosa was 269, ran 4.77.
Von Miller was 246, ran 4.53.

Dudes fast. Would love to see his jump scores and 3-cone. Those are the most telling for edge rushers.

As well as the less advertised 10 yd split time. Anything under 1.6 in the 10 yd split, and I would ecstatic.

Most importantly, the guy is a football player. T.J Green ran a 4.3 but he had 40 yards to chase down a running back in a foot race but couldnt do it.

We need more talented football players, not track stars.

Chubb ran a very disappointing 7.37 cone drill, apparently.

Firesale this pick, Ballard.

Shaquem Griffin ran a 4.38. You can't tell me that dude is not a baller.

I’ve been saying it for months, I hope we get him. Personally I would take him at the top of the 3rd round

He may have moved himself up further than that.

His tape don't lie, and now with the measurables...as far as athleticism he has checked almost all the boxes.

I would love to have him as a WILL on our team.

It is disappointing, but some pretty good pass rushers have not had great cone drills.
Demarcus Lawrence 7.46
Clowney 7.27

If Ballad is happy with the tape you still take him.

Most surprising time of the day to me was Tremaine Edmunds at 4.54, I figured he'd be a 4.8 plodder.

Chubb at 4.65 exceeded my expectations as well, and I think the 36" vertical and 10'1" broad shows the lower half explosion he'll need at the next level. I'm not terribly concerned about the 3 cone time, that's not very reflective of the skills he needs as a down DE.

Marcus Davenport has Julius Peppers type measurables across the board. Get him a DL coach and he'll wreak havoc on the NFL.
