I wonder if anyone would agree with me. On the last play of the half, Pats player intercepts the ball on the 2 yard line, (I don't think anyone touched him), then he rolled into the end zone and was then touched by a 49er. Shouldn't that be a safety? I should add that he rolled into the end zone on his own, not by the inertia of making the interception.

I saw that.

The 49ers player touched the Patriots player's balls on the way down, so he was down by contact as he soon as he landed.

Otherwise yes, for him to get up and risk a safety like that at that part of the field was incredibly stupid.
