Default Dolphins Come Up Short in Comeback Bid vs. The Bills

o

The Miami Dolphins, playing with their 3rd-string quarterback and an offensive lineman who spent part of the season on their taxi squad, fell just short in their comeback bid in their AFC Wildcard playoff game against the Bills in northwestern New York State.

It looked like it was going to be a long for the the Floridians when they fell behind by a score of 17-0 early in the 2nd quarter ...... but they showed plenty of intestinal fortitude while scratching and clawing their way back in front of a hostile crowd in Orchard Park. At one point, they took the lead by a score of 24-20 after a sack-and-fumble recovery for a TD early in the 3rd quarter.

Dolphins’ Season Ends in Wild-Card Round as Comeback Falls Short in 34-31 Loss to Bills
