Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Specs dealing with a lingering injury last season? Also, I'm convinced he's related to the Hanson Brothers:

I saw an article about him liking Legos, so he even brought his "fucking toys".

His hip injury definitely cost us the nationally-televised Ravens game, early in the 2021 season.

I’d rather have the big leg kicker gain experience thru the season then the accurate guy from 40 yards but anything farther and Reichs goin for it on 4th using the bullshit analytics when it’s really knowing your kicker can’t hit from 50 yards

Since he hasnt tried to high stick, board, or hook an opponent, its just the glasses.

I guess Specs it is, Colts cut Jake Verity to make room for Matt Haack.

I wonder if Sanchez's injury had any impact on this. The holder is a HUGE part of the PK equation, and having a new holder and a new kicker might be too much of a question mark for Reich to risk.

Verity was claimed off waivers by Dougie P and the Jaguars.

Apparently they have been churning through kickers - Verity is now the 5th PK of camp for Jacksonville.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have yet another new kicker, their second of the week and fifth since training camp opened a month ago. The Jaguars claimed Jake Verity off waivers from Indianapolis. He joins James McCourt in the team’s competition at kicker. Jacksonville claimed McCourt off waivers from the Los Angeles Chargers earlier this week. Verity and McCourt could both kick in the team’s preseason finale at Atlanta on Saturday. Jacksonville previously tried and cut undrafted rookie Andrew Mevis, journeyman Elliott Fry and Ryan Santoso
