Colts QB Gardner Minshew has been selected as a Pro Bowl alternate, marking the first Pro Bowl selection of his career.

He joins fellow Pro Bowl alternates DT DeForest Buckner and C Ryan Kelly, and LG Quenton Nelson who is an outright Pro Bowler.

Last year, Tyler Huntley made the Pro Bowl as an alternate.

He only played in 6 games for Baltimore, starting 4 in place of an injured Lamar Jackson.

His stats in those 6 games:

Tackle football is not conducive to an All-Star exhibition game ...... they should have done away with the Pro Bowl 50 years ago, and just have had players named All-Pro First Team, All-Pro Second Team, and All-Pro Third Team.
