Ballard Voted Best Talent Evaluator in The Athletic's Annual Agent Survey
Among GMs and other "front office leaders," Chris Ballard was voted the best talent evaluator in The Athletic's annual agent survey:
https://theathletic.com/3539313/2022...lores-jackson/ Two quotes are cited: • “He understands the players, he understands fit, his coaching staff and team culture.” • “Ballard is phenomenal.” He also received votes for "most trustworthy" GM/front office leader. Ed Dodds was listed as one of the "future GMs to watch". |

I’m surprised Dodds wasn’t stolen by Pitt. Happy they didn’t though. Had a lot of Ballard backlash this off season. They need to get to the playoffs this year.

They need to add a small disclaimer "except for pass-rushers".

I wonder how many votes he gets if Ryan doesn't fall in his lap?

He has built a strong roster, Ryan probably does not "fall" into his lap if he had not.

Did Ryan consider the Texans or Chicago?

That may be true, but it doesn't change the fact that he did fall....right into his lap!
