Last I heard Zack Moss was still open to staying with the Colts this season, I think the Colts should retain him if possible...JT is not durable and it is very likely he will miss a 1/2 dozen games this season, Moss can also give him erxtended breaks during games!

The Colts received a mention as an interested suitor (one of 7 teams) for Kansas City CB L’Jarius Sneed.

Al Breer speculates that it would take a 2nd Round Pick to get the deal done.

Multiple teams interested in L'Jarius Sneed

As expected, the Kansas City Chiefs officially placed the franchise tag on cornerback L'Jarius Sneed. Sneed still has permission to seek a trade despite the designation. A person with direct knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports that the Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars have expressed interest in the Chiefs corner. The person told USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

Both sides have until mid-July to finalize a long-term extension or until the NFL’s trade deadline to part ways via trade.

Sneed is one of the best zone cover corners in the NFL. According to Next Gen Stats, Sneed allowed no touchdowns and a league-low four yards per target while in zone coverage in 2023.

I think Sneed is probably headed elsewhere. My guess would be that it’ll be for a second-round pick, with the star corner getting somewhere north of $20 million per year. And, lucky for him, there are a few corner-needy contenders out there.

A 2 is a lot to give to then turn around and pay a $20+ million AAV contract. Definitely something you'd better be right about if you're going to take the swing.

I guess talks could breakdown and he could try to force his way out of the Windy City but it will probably require a tag-and-trade. So there is a good chance that the Colts would have to send Chicago some draft picks in addition to extending a big contract offer.

The Bears reached agreement with Jaylon Johnson. 4 years, $76M. $54.4M with some guarantees attached and $43.8M of that being fully guaranteed.

The contract is front-loaded - he will earn $60M over the first 3 years.
