You could say the same thing about high pick guards/OL. Impact pass rushers are more rare and difficult to find than starting guards, so when you get the chance to take one, you take him. Don't get me wrong. I like Chubb, and I wouldn't complain if we took him. But, remember that one rationale for taking Kelly was that misses on OL'men taken that high are rare.

Nelson's the safe pick, and his upside is perennial all pro.
