His media tour this week (JMV, DD, Barstool) is no coincidence....The colts organization asked for this time not the other way around.....Ballard has started the process of becoming the public face to the franchise in my opinion and it's not a moment too soon.

i don't think that is the case at all. i think maybe he had an agreement or is letting pagano do his thing for evaluation purposes.

but still, he is the gm. if i am the boss, i do not let this franchise look like this. it is good to see him getting out and talking this week.

He is letting Pagano have enough rope to hang himself. I'm sure he has no desire to hide Pagano's idiocy and let him stay on for more than this year. The problem isn't Ballard taking control, it's Irsay not realizing how bad Pagano is fucking this all up and firing him now.

Except that Irsay has gotten involved in keeping Pagano, so it's his job to end it. After that, it would be preferred if he had someone else in that role.

To be fair... Irsay fired the GM. don't have a new GM hired so he said he would roll with Pags so it was t a complete wipe of the ass that he had to deal with

talked with Ballard and told him. Get through this season and let's evaluate.

Not sure why everyone is being so hard on Irsay on this

Complete change is not always the right move.... gave Pags a yr to define himseflf as a HC. which turned punt bad for Pagfuckup. But none the less showed the truth of the situation.

HCs now are not worried about coming here. Change is coming.... lets worry-y about getting that high draft pick right now

IMO, he's stuck with the circus this season because Irsay saddled him with Pags.

I think another draft and a competent head coach(hopefully) will have things looking up in no time.
I have not soured on Ballard. He just doesn't have the experience to be a team president as Polian was.

This keeps getting better..

Even if it's for an alternative treatment it's definitely a fucked up situation.

They also don't make Bill Poilans anymore.
