Default 7 round mock - Fansided

Wow, one of the best mock drafts I have seen that actually intelligently discusses team needs (located here).

Summary:

Rd 1 = OLB Derek Barnett, Tennessee
....(Alternate Picks = 5-tech Taco Charlton or OLB Takkarist McKinley)

Rd 2 = CB Jourdan Lewis, Michigan
....(Alternate Picks = CB Condrea Tankersley, Desmond King or Tre'Davious White)

Rd 3 = ILB Anthony Walker, Northwestern
....(Alternate Picks = ILB Kendell Beckwith or Raekwon McMillian)

Rd 4 = RB Kareem Hunt, Toledo
....(Alternate Picks = Wayne Gallman, Jeremy McNichols or James Conner)

Rd 4 = SS Lorenzo Jerome, St Francis
....(Alternate Picks = Rayshawn Jenkins or Josh Jones)

Rd 5 = FS John Johnson, Boston College
....(Alternate Picks = Jadar Johnson

Rd 6 = WR Travin Dural, LSU
....(Alternate Picks = Fred Ross, Shelton Green or KD Cannon)

About my only gripe with the mock is that I think we probably need to spend our 6th round pick on whichever best available punter is in the draft. I don't love the free agent punter class this season and while one might be okay, we need to replace McAfee.

Anyway, that draft would not suck for the Colts. A bit light on the LB picks perhaps but focus on the areas we need to focus on.

Cheers,

I don't know about Barnett. Think I would rather have Charles Harris. I could live with Takk. He will have to learn for a few years though.

Looking back at this, you got some great picks here Sherck. Just out of curiosity, how did you pick them?
