You are going to be very disappointed with this draft

Dam. Look at who we have one the Oline and where they were drafted? Do you really think Ballard is dumb enough to follow that pattern to protect the absolute most important player on the team? The only quality players we have in the Oline were taken in 1st and second rounds. The players that were taken in later rounds are just guys. And because they are just guys we have to continue to try to upgrade the position year after yr.

I don’t expect them to take Nelson in round one. But I don’t expect it to be Chubb either.

Ballard will take BPA. If he likes a player he will do what he can to move draft picks around whether trading back or up to get the player where he should be valued.

Yes the D needs upgraded. But you Have tunnel vision and would be a horrible GM and terrible at building a team

Ballard didn't address the O-Line last year, even though it was a glaring weakness. What makes you think that he will do it this year?

You have to have a good defense to win football games consistently. The Colts have a terrible defense. They also have 4 top 50 picks in the upcoming draft. Using those picks on defensive upgrades will hopefully turn terrible into at least average. Meanwhile, you accuse me of having tunnel vision while wanting to invest more first and second round picks into an OL (five positions) that already has 2 former first round selections and 1 former second round selection rather than a defense (eleven positions) that has 1 former first round selection and 2 former second round selections. That's tunnel vision.

He spent almost every pick last yr on D and also FA There are plenty of pieces on the defense but you vision of that is clouded because the played for Pagfuck and you couldn’t see what should’ve been. Only the mess that Pagshit tried

I believe Ballard drafted last yr for this season with a capable HC

He will protect Luck

It takes more than one draft to build a defense. They have a Top 10 pick and 4 Top 50 picks. If the top 10 pick and at least 3 of the top 50 picks aren't spent on defense, I'll be surprised. If more than one of the top 50 picks is invested in OL, I'll begin to lose confidence in Ballard as a talent evaluator. What little he's done in free agency this far suggests to me that defense will be his focus in the draft, and not OL, at least not early. That said, I'd be fine if he spent 3 Day 3 picks on OL.

Grigson lasted 5 years.

I’m pretty sure that’s above average for NFL GM tenure.

That first round pick needs to be a difference maker. Someone other teams scheme around. Defense/offense I could care less. Any position but a qb. Stud offensive lineman, running back, defensive lineman, linebacker or db. Just as long as he dominates.
