Default Bernhard Raimann

Anyone here know why he was pulled after 2 series? Injury or performance are the usual reasons

Very odd, but apparently the idea was to rotate after a couple series and then OL coach Strausser would make a call on who would stay in.

Re-watched the game and Raimann seemed to be playing fine. Kelly was okay in his place, but not as good as some on here are suggesting.

Raimann has more upside than Kelly, so I say keep him out there.

Pryor still sucks, even at RG. We can just hide his sucktivity that much more at G.

Best lineup would be Raimann, Nelson, Kelly, Smith, Kelly.

Maybe Raimann to guard for the season then move him outside next off-season like they did Tarik Glenn.

Worth a try. Get your best 5 out there. Chris Reed has been a healthy scratch for the Vikings most of the year. There has to be a guard out there who we can get that could help us out that we can get.

Either of those could well be the best lineup. Smith has shown to be our best RG and RT so far. I'm just not sure if they want to do anymore shuffling.

As for Raimann... I guess the luxury of easing him into things slowly disappeared after Pryor's performance. So he was thrown to the wolves. Then D. Kelly comes in and does ok (far better than Pryor). So maybe they feel they have that "luxury" again.

Raimann at guard might be interesting. Pryor just isn't an athlete when you boil it down. Raimann, Smith, and Nelson score 9.97, 9.71, and 9.66 respectively in RAS for guards. Pryor is like a 3.

i would be more inclined to let him just be the backup and learn the lt spot. but i wouldn't hate it either.

Raimann is not a guard. His biggest weakness to this point is against power.

Just keep giving reps to Raimann every game and let him develop...we are going to need him at LT.
