I agree. He's done. Maybe two years ago, we would have gotten a good version of the guy. Not now.

Fuck Rivers, that would be dumb as hell. He isn't worth a shit anymore. Desperation move if it happens.

Rappaport said this:

"It seems right now the most logical spot would be the Indianapolis Colts, who havent ruled out anything, may be in the quarterback market. They grabbed Jacoby Brissett [whom] they have to make some decisions on, and they may still draft a quarterback. Right not that seems like the most logical spot for Rivers."

I just don't see us doing it.

I think its just that we dont have a solid QB and the link to reich/sirianni. I dont see us signing rivers either.

Sure are enough places reporting Rivers likely going to the Colts from CBS sports to Sports Illustrated.

I never liked the guy and hate the Chargers but if we did and won a SB that would be ok.

Per Rapoport - KC will franchise tag Chris Jones. Obviously KC can still tag and trade. But right now, KC is saying that they want him back.

The #Chiefs are going to franchise tag star DL Chris Jones, sources say. Not a surprise, but Kansas City views him in their long-term plans and hopes to get a deal done at some point. The window opens officially today.

I'm starting to believe it might happen. The Colts would then take Love at 13 and have Rivers to mentor him for a year or 2 as opposed to just drafting him and throwing him out there. Reich and Rivers would probably be really good for the kid, and it sounds like a good way to approach things...but I've always hated Rivers and, man... I'd have to get over that in a hurry. Don't know if I have it in me. JMV is starting to believe it, too for whatever that's worth.
